The News of the Lepidopterists' Society is the quarterly newsletter of The Lepidopterists' Society. It contains short notes on the biology and taxonomy of moths and butterflies, yearly and other summaries of collecting and observational activities, general notes, book reviews, member notices and updates, and other information. The News has been published continuously since 1959.
As a member of the Society, you will receive a printed copy of the News four times a year. The News is also available online at the following link:

News articles are open access and available to everyone. Open access to the News is the result of ongoing work by James Adams, David Lohman, Larry Gall and their colleagues, and is currently hosted by the Peabody Museum of Natural History at Yale University on behalf of the Society.
