The News of the Lepidopterists' Society  

As a member of the Society, you will receive  The News of the Lepidopterists' Society four times per year (In addition to The Journal of the Lepidopterists' Society). The News has articles describing Society happenings (such as the annual general meeting), full-color photos of Lepidoptera, editorial comments, informal reports about Lepidopteran biology, collecting and curating methods, field trips in exotic places, want-ads, and many other items of interest to both amateurs and professionals in the field.  All members of the Society are invited to submit materials for The News.
 
Additionally, The News has a special "Season Summary" supplement each year, containing reports of species identified by members in the various reporting regions of the world during the preceding year.
 
A second supplement, the biennial Membership Directory, is also published in even-numbered years.
