Join, Renew, or Revise Membership Information

Membership in the Society is on a calendar-year basis (January-December) and is open to all. Membership renewal bills are mailed in November each year.

Membership Categories

ACTIVE (basic membership); SUSTAINING (same benefits as Active but provides additional financial support for the Society); LIFE (non-transferable lifetime membership for a one-time fee, same benefits as Active); AFFILIATE (immediate family members at the same address as an Active, Sustaining, or Life Member; all privileges of an Active Member but do not receive any publications); STUDENT (reserved for full-time students at a reduced rate; eligibility must be certified annually). CHILD (Children between 5 and 18 years of age can apply for the Outernet Project promotion; 2011--membership only while supplies last.  Click HERE for more information.)INSTITUTIONAL SUBSCRIBERS are usually libraries; they receive all publications but no other Society benefits.

(a) Click on the link in the upper-right margin of this page, to use an online  form. Payment is by PayPal or credit card. 

(b) Click HERE to reach a printable form to be sent by postal mail. Payment is by Visa, Mastercard, check, or money order.
